Castor update
Safety is a process.
At JOWI, we work on improving safety year on year – working together with you to improve on previous benchmarks:
Inspect castors to ensure full working order:
Please check the state of your swivel castors and locks today – and at least once a year!
Important: The bolts on the castors must be tightened to a torque of between 80 and 100 Nm.
Replacing castor bolts on older models:
We recommend that you replace the securing screws, including washers, on all racks that were delivered before mid-2014.
An audit that JOWI commissioned has revealed that transporting standard loads can cause screws to become loose.
